Crystals, rocks and stones have enchanted me for as long as I can remember. As a child I would entertain myself by sitting in the rock garden in our backyard and lining them up according to their unique shapes, sizes, colors and patterns.
As a twenty-something adult, I was walking through a street fair in Chicago where a crystal shop had set up a booth. I was browsing the crystals when the shop owner asked if I would be open to a brief crystal balancing session there on the spot to demonstrate his clear quartz crystal wand. He had me close my eyes and told me to center myself, and almost immediately I felt a warm, loving angelic-like presence enveloping me. A few minutes later I opened my eyes to find that a large crowd of people had gathered. My friend told me that every time the practitioner moved the wand toward or away from my body, I was swaying in the direction of the wand. It was then that I began to understand the deep affinity that I have with crystals.
Years later life took me on a spiritual quest, and I was led to the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah. I found answers to many of the questions my soul was searching for and immersed myself in the profound teachings. I have received miracles and blessings through my teachers, the Zohar, 72 Names and much more. The many tools and ways to experience Kabbalah are endless, and I was intrigued to find a few references to crystals in my studies as well. The Torah speaks about the breastplate of Aaron the High Priest with twelve stones inlaid in it. It is said that each stone was assigned a healing quality and that Aaron received protection and Divine answers to any question that was asked of him while wearing it. In another reference to crystals, the Talmud says that Abraham the Patriarch wore a gemstone around his neck that brought healing to anyone who looked at it.
I finally decided to take my passion of crystals to the next level. I delved into courses and books, practiced on friends, family and volunteers. I learned to trust in my intuition. I earned my Hibiscus Moon Certified Crystal Practitioner certification in January of 2019 and am currently working towards my Advanced Crystal Master certification. I feel this path has been calling me my whole life. I seek to be a conduit for the Light and am grateful to have the opportunity to assist you on your journey.
The name Julie Rae Inclusions was divinely inspired. While working on my logo design, I was meditating and guided to write “Inclusions”. Although I had not considered using that name before, I knew that was the name of my business. The word Inclusions is multi-faceted as it implies being inclusive of all people, which I believe is important, and is also a term used to identify an object within a crystal.
An inclusion in a crystal can be a solid, liquid or gas within it from the time of growth. I consider inclusions in crystals to be individual character traits that give each crystal its unique identity. Inclusions add to the beauty and energy a crystal emits and no two are alike. I love looking at crystals and finding unique images, shapes and colors within them.
